
Khalil Khalil
Khalil Khalil is a Syrian Folk Dance Artist. He performs from Dabke to the most traditional Arabic Mowashahat. He was born in Argentina to a Syrian-Argentinean family from Fairouzeh, a Syriac town in the province of Homs, Syria.
Our Family comes from both Arab and Syriac tribes who came to Fairouzeh around the 16th century. They highlighted an active cultural life, with patronage of the arts, music and especially Arab-language poetry.
In his deep interest for culture and history, Khalil settled in Cairo, Egypt for more than 10 years, where he worked and studied in detail the different cultural and artistic movements in Middle East, with several visit to his town in Syria, and other Arab countries as Lebanon and the Gulf.

Khalil is graduated from the National Music Institute from Argentina where he studied Solfège, Piano and Guitar. Later he studied Musical Theatre including singing and acting in the famous Julio Boca Foundation where he won an scholarship for the whole career.
From 2014 to 2019 he toured the world performing Arab Dances with highlighted performances at:
• Marriot Mena House, Cairo, Egypt.
• Aster Plaza, Hiroshima, Japan.
• The Mawnaloa, Santo Domingo, RD.
• Teleton, Santiago, Chile
He also was invited to teach and perform in China, South Korea, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Argentina.
Khalil is a passionate artist who loves the heritage of his culture, and is strongly connected with the joy of its music.
